I had ordered this Bessa R and 75mm lens (both chrome) from the honourable Dr. Yao, waited several weeks for arrival and then subsequently have decided that although the hype and conjecture on the Bessa for the most part is true, the Bessa R is not for me. I'm sticking with my Leicas and now am offering the Bessa up for resale. If you want to see it, the url is listed below. I listed on ebay as I have much experience with it and it has always worked previously to sell equipment I didn't need. My opinion on the Bessa R? It's too lightweight. The shutter reminds me in it's feel and sound (and makes me shake to think about) of my first slr, a pentax K1000. Even the shutter dial seems straight off the K1000. The viewfinder is unbelievably great. If viewfinders alone sold cameras, this one would make the Voigtlander a bestseller. The 75mm lens is very very well built and focusses as well as any lens I have owned, although you can tell the difference mounting it on an older sm camera versus a leica sm lens. The lens is heavy duty and I like the idea of a well made 75mm lens at a reasonable price. I'm holding onto my Leica gear, and my foray into a cheaper alternative universe was short lived at best! ha! My opening bid was what I paid for the kit, and I definately didn't buy the camera to make money on. It is brand new with no film through it, all papers, boxes, etc. Imported from HOng Kong distributer, Dr. Yao, who I highly recommend for Voigtlander gear! Fast shipping and excellent communications. check it out at: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321343771
