Oh, Jane Bown is quite possibly my favorite photographer. Well, I've
never
met her, but I've been a fan of her work since I was a teenager. She
took
that legendary photo of Rudolf Nureyev and Morgot Fonteyn. Her
portrait of
Samuel Beckett has generated one of my personal goals -- to try to be
able
to take pictures like that -- for 20 years. You can see a scan of the
