Just two cautions: (1) The 40mm isn't really midway between the 35 and the 50. It's actually much closer to the 35. (2) Use the 35mm frame lines (via the selection lever) to train yourself about the actual framing of the 40. (The 35 frame lines are much more accurate for the 40 than the 50mm frames).
