damian,

the lens arrived yesterday. it looks great - super clean glass and all
mechanical functions smooth and crisp. i've mounted it on a iiif and have
begun taking pictures. i should have the first set of proofs tuesday, and
will send a quick note to say how they've come out.

all in all, much pleased. thanks for what appears to be a fine lens.
