Subject: Re: [Leica] Ideal M travel lens combination

When Henning Wulff was over here last year, or was it the year before last,
he let me use his 15mm Voigländer Super Wide Heliar and I had a look at the
pictures a few nights ago comparing them with the pictures I took at the
same time using the 21mm Elmarit-M. They 15 mm ones really look good. If
you want wide angle, go all the way, but, as Henning said, watch your feet
if you don't want them in the picture. And buy a spirit level.

I have and will keep the 35mm Summicron but I am considering swapping my
21mm for the 15 mm. The 21 mm is a bit bulky for travel, while the 15 mm is
really small. On the other hand the 21 mm has a stop and a half more, and
you can focus with the M meter. The light meter works with both lenses.
There is a slight price difference between the two lenses, and don't forget
the 15 mm price includes the finder......and for a few dollars more you get
the Bessa L body included if you want it.
