I have an .72 Ti and a .85 HM classic that are my regular cameras.  I 
bought the HM as a tool to get the HM finder and keep the SS dial turning 
in the same direction as the older M's.  I was willing to give up the other 
TTL advantages (TTL flash, larger, easier to turn SS dial, and  the off 
switch) to keep all my cameras with identical handling.  I don't intend to 
baby the HM classic any more than any other camera.

I agree with the other posters that the HM Classic isn't going to command 
much of a premium in the future unless its in mint shape.

Use it and enjoy it.
