Pascal, the Elmarit-M 90/2.8 does not obscure the 90mm viewfinder frames at all, unless focused between 1.7m and 1m, and then only a small portion of the bottom right corner is blocked. You can collapse the hood to make it a bit smaller. One of the reasons I've been hesitating to get the 90AA is that it is bigger and I'm not sure how much more it would block (same case with 35/2A versus 35/1.4A). I've been using the 90/2.8 for years and the focusing accuracy with the 0.72 (that's the only one I use) is pretty good. Only occasionally I get it focused wrong, but it is mostly an operator error, one has to pay a little more attention. Jiri D.
