Depends on what you want. For pure color fidelity, sure. If it matters that the colors are exact, you'll want to filter depending on the light source. That said, it's possible (and a bit of a pain) to color correct *most* casts. Generally, neutral gray will no longer be neutral, but you probably won't notice the slight cast in the other colors. Take something like a Macbeth color chart and photograph it in varying light. You'll be able to get most of the colors rendered correctly, but will see slight casts in the neutral ones using traditional darkroom techniques.
