Why are you so willing to accept his tests? Where are some photographs you can show us to compare? How can you make that last statement without having tested it and what does it mean anyway? If there's one thing I can say after about two months on this list, many people seem more obsessed with brand than teenagers with clothing, and there aren't enough photos shown to justify a lot of what goes on. I've shot into bright lights at F2 with the Konica 50 and had no problems. I have also seen no problems at all with any "curvature" issues. Up until now, I've been working almost exclusively in 6x7 and printing to 20x24, so I figure my standards are relatively high. Photos: http://www.spirer.com/images/ali.jpg This has bright lights in the frame, shot wide open. It's not a great photo (I need some light on the face), but it doesn't show any problems. http://www.spirer.com/images/70.jpg Great detail in the shirt, nice contrast, nice bokeh, no "curvature." What good are words when one can show photos? ... Jeff Spirer Photos: http://www.spirer.com One People: http://www.onepeople.com/
