They come with these nice little leather patches that slip over the strap lugs and then wrap securely around the split rings, thereby doing a great job protecting the camera body's finish. The strap set also comes with a tiny "tool," something like a guitar pick, for holding open the rings as you slip them into the strap lugs. Neat! On the down side, I noticed when mounting a Leica 35/2 ASPH on the Hexar RF, a tiny bit of the 75mm frameline shows. When I asked Konica Canada about this, they said: "That's because you're not using a Hexar lens. The frame selector mechanism is very sensitive and we don't warrant that it will work correctly with other brand lenses." When I pointed out that while the camera is equipped with frames for 35, 75 and 135mm lenses, Konica doesn't offer those focal lengths. Their response: "Those are part of our upcoming lens series." I bet they'll sell boat loads of 135s :-) The parallax compensation also cuts out on mine at about .85 metres. They said they can adjust this right away, under warranty. Sounds like what others occasionally post here about their minor Leica RF hassles. Emanuel Lowi Montreal
