Ken Hansen's prices are not the lowest in the city, but you CAN NOT go wrong
there in terms of receiving accurate information and in terms of them
standing behind what they sell. They are a real pleasure to do business
with - and walking in there is like dying and going to heaven, in terms of
the physical set-up and equipment to drool over....

I'm inching toward reacquaintance with (and re-acquisition of component
parts of) the M series after a 15 or so year interval (my new-in-1959
M-3 and later acquired M-4-P are long gone, although I still have a CL
and an AF-C1).

I'm going to have a free afternoon in New York City in a couple of weeks
and would like to spend some of it looking at a good selection of new
and used bodies and lenses in a friendly atmosphere. The two shops that
stick out from current Shutterbug advertising and web sites are Tamarkin
and Ken Hansen....I'd appreciate any comments, thoughts and/or
suggestions about these or others that would be worth a visit.

(If you want to send comments to me off-list to avoid offending anyone
I'll certainly keep your remarks to myself.)
