I say they were both full of bull! > Anything that walks is fair game as far as I am concerned!>>>>>> Mark & Kyle, I've been photographing my fellow & fellowette photographers for years and recently gave a slide presentation showing how we looked then, in between the years and now. And all that came of it was a great round of applause, cheers and cat calls at the clothing from the suits, ties and white shirts to the shot out of a cannon sideways with a keg of nails look of the late '60's 70's animal look! Even to the more moderate casual look of today. And quite frankly if another photographer gave me a hard time about taking his picture I'd tell him to kiss my a.....s, grow-up and get stuffed!! Then let him have it with a motor driven burst ! :) Unfortunately there are a few who think they're bloody prima donnas and no one should take their picture even though they shoot pictures of whomever they feel like. Now if you should run in to one of these types merely stand back and shoot your picture. Particularly if they're giving you a hard time when it's a public news event ! And quite frankly there are no "rules anywhere" that says one photographer shouldn't take a picture of another! And Mark, the editor who admonished you for taking another's photo didn't know what the hell she was talking about and sure didn't have too many street smarts in the news business. ted
