I am of the belief that the two things that change one's life the most are those whom you associate (LUG? - scarry!), and what you read.

To move the conversations here (to rise above the level of a real-life sociology/psycology experiment/soap-opera - and to meet my insatiable curiosity) let me make a request.

  What books (articles) have you read that have influenced your life?  Give me 3 things:

a) title, publisher, etc.
b) topic - developing film, printing, photographer - subject relationships, etc.
c) a couple of sentences describing the experience.
