The biggest and smallest AD agencies do not work this way, unless they feel they can put one over on the photographer. If you like to give things away that's fine, more power to you! Is the photographer going to give back any of the money? NO! I believe you take the risk, you reap the rewards, and there is NO risk in being paid what you asked for to do a shoot. I'm not sure you know how advertising works. The photographer works for the agency, which in turn works for the client. If the campaign is a bust it's the agencies fault(an oversimplification), not the photographers. >>What IS art, and who defines it? That's a whole other can of worms!
