Subject: [Leica] That expensive Nikon hood

Curious--as of Friday afternoon, the $5500 bid for that Nikon lens hood
had gone DOWN. How does that happen in an eBay auction??? A withdrawn
bid? But the same person is still the high bidder.

He's also added a comment to the effect that "a leading Nikon expert"
has only seen 3 or 4 of these hoods in his lifetime, and believes that
only 10 such hoods exist.
