As the motor completely changes the balance for the better and makes the camera much easier to hold. I'd bet people who found the camera alone difficult to hold due to smaller hands, would find with a motor it's a piece of cake, regardless of the slightly added weight. I don't find it much different than an R7 with motor and grip for weight, but then that's the only way I've ever used Leica SLR's with motors attached. Actually I've always found them clumsy without a motor, yet an M6 fits my hands like I was born with it attached. Sure feels good to finally have the motor, as everything functions faster. And the re-wind? WOW! Compared to playing with the winder for advance and rewind, it's like a lumbering old battle cruiser winder and a sleek moving torpedo boat with the motor. ted
