I never thought about checking out the engravings. Actually, I guess I
don't care what they say. When I focus with the RF, what I focus on is
sharp on the film. Even at f/1.4 (35, 50, & 75). Unless you carry a tape
measure, your guesstimate (when guesstimate focusing) won't be better than
a foot or two either way anyway. The bottom line is... when focused via RF,
is it sharp on film. If not, then have it fixed. Otherwise ignore it.
