Fact is, a hell of a lot of working pros/photojournalists still use Leica 
rangefinders-- and for several good reasons-- great optics, reliable 
mechanics, compact size, plus unobtrusive, quiet action.  Need proof? Have a 
look at Alan Harvey's recently published Nat Geo book "Cuba." One camera, one 
lens.
