Out here in the San Fransisco Bay Area, there was a major fire which destroyed hundreds of homes and killed a dozen or more people. The local used dealer lived in the area. In his shop he was displaying for a while, two cameras which went through the very high temperature. One was a Contarex Bull's Eye and the other, I think, a Leica M2. They both looked like toast, but I think the M2 kept it's shape a little better that the Contarex. Cheers, Rich Lahrson tripspud@wenet.net
