B+W seem to recommend it for high altitude open shade. I would go to a stage lighting supply store and get some gel that colour and try it first before shelling out for the filter. Yes, I know stage gels are not good to shoot through but it will show you the colour effect. I personally find a 81A plenty strong enough. I only use my 81A filter in open shade, but have all my flash heads covered with 81A gels. It acts as a cheap UV filter (no blue in your whites) and warms up the flesh tones nice and subtly.
