Which lens/camera do you think creates the greater visual pitty pats? If you say the Leica R, you just lost the $64,000 question! :) Yes, yes, I know they're sort of the same lens in focal length, so how could the M 15mm be more exciting then the R? Well before I tell you, lets see if anyone can figure out why. Go for it! :) Now before you jump chastising me one camera over the other, remember experience counts here: :) A: I've used the 15mm R for at least 14-16 years, close enough. And I know what exciting images it can create and I've put on film. Some of them kinda shake you outta yer socks.:) B: Yep I've only used the Voigtlander 15mm on the M6 for a short period of several months. So why is it in that short time frame I make a win-lose decision one over the other? OK I'm not going to tell you right now, you folks tell me why you think I picked the M6 over the R8? Man this is so simple I bet the first response will have it. What do you win? Well Ok lets make this interesting. :) I'll send a copy of my book, "This is Our Work. The Legacy of Sir William Osler" along with the "Photographers Supplement" to the winner, where ever he or she lives in the world! First in with, "Why I chose the M6 with 15mm over the R8 with 15mm for the visual heart pitty pats wins! This isn't the end result on film, but the motivation for shooting the picture one camera over the other. ted
