Why is a a Konica HexarRF, made in Japan, with electronic shutter and some fairly standard specs and no TTL, worth as much or more than a Nikon F100? The profit margin for Konica has to be tremoundous! <<<<<<<<<< Is this question really being asked by an owner/fan of an all mechanical rangfinder, whose design has been virtually unchanged for the past 18 years or so - oh, I forgot, they added TTL flash and a larger shutter speed dial! and sells for $2000, when a newly designed Nikon F100, with a zillion bells and whistles and a microwave oven built-in, goes for about $1300? Comeon, guys. We all know the Hexar isn't a Leica. So what?
