Actually the filter arrangement doesn't look so bad and might encourage me
to use some interesting filters I have laying around.  So far I haven't had
the courage to take the made-up cap out in public.  It does look silly.
These are stop-gap measures until I find the proper accessories.

friend PAINTED black (with a brush) his (then new to the market) Nikon F2.
He could leave it unattended with a stack of his books on a table in a busy
