I can speak for Texarkana Where Texas hits Arkansas. That should/could be on
your way.
I had a peak experience there. The Ozarks are tops.
Karen votes for eastern Kentucky, the Appalachian mountains, the smokies.
I guess mountains are the thing. The Rockies though really are the tops in all
ways. But you can hit those on the way back.
