I simply do not understand the blather about the flaring of the M6 VF. I own an M6, and have used others. In none of these was the problem a bother, though it did occasionally occur. When it did occur, all I have had to do was to move six inches one way or the other to cause it to go away. This flare has never caused me to lose a shot, out of thousands of rolls of film which I have run through my battle-horse of a camera, the best-built M I have ever owned.
