And, don't forget that a prime EBay buyer strategy is to literally bid in
the final one to two minutes of a multi-day auction...so as Kip says, It
Ain't Over Till It's (REALLY) over.

And on another subject...

Dropped off some Tri-X shot at 800 with my new Nokton 50 mm 1.5 - with UV
filter. So I'' be reporting late today or tomorrow on my first results with
this under-$500 50 mm LTM lens with two aspherical surfaces..

Mechanical impression thus far...
Good fit and finish...very smooth aperture ring with half-stop
clicks...smooth focus....Knurling on the focusing ring could stand to be a
good deal deeper or to have a rubber surface...

My experience with Ebay is that it ain't over 'til it's over. I have read
some
comments to the effect that as a matter of strategy, best results can
usually be
obtained with no reserve and a very low starting bid. Of course, sometimes
you
can get lucky as a bidder in these cases - which is what we all hope for.

Cheers,
Kip
