Lucien,

In the last financial report, we read :
"In the high-quality SLR cameras market, which is
in constant decline, the products of the Leica R
system achieved sales of DM 8.7 million, a 21.3%
decrease as compared to the prior year. The Com-pany
was aware of this market situation and has
taken it into account in setting up the budget"

It seems that all the segment of high-quality SLR cameras, from Leica and
others, "is in constant decline".
As you, I find the R8 very very attractive but...
