I used Kodachrome exclusively until they sold the processing division to
Qualex. I have a thick file of form letters from Qualex stating "We are
sorry but......" When they routinely ruined over 25% of the film
(irreplaceable) I sent them, I gave up. I bought a Jobo and have learned
to use E-6 films.  It's true that Kodachromes last longer in dark storage;
but when you project the slides, E-6 fades less than Kodachrome. Astia
gives beautiful skin tones, Velvia passes for medium format, and the new
Provia looks great. I'm not giving up control of my slide processing to
Kodak until I know that their quality control equals mine.

Leically,

Tina
