That is a tragedy for a number of reasons. The first, of course, is that the
F3 is one terrific manual SLR and it will be too bad to see it go. The
second is that its demise will mark the end of the traditional F line...The
f100, F5, and even F4 not being traditional Fs...well, maybe the 4 is an F
on steroids...

But even more important is what the demise of the F3 will say about the
future  - or lack there is - of manual 35 mm photography.
