I don't own one, but I do currently use one. I think it's a miraculous machine, because of the spot, but it's too big to my liking. I'm sticking with my digital Gossen with 5 degree spot attachment. If ever I do decided I want a 1 deg spot then I'll add the 508 my kit, because it sure doesn't cost much (relatively speaking). Hello folks, I sold my Minolta Autometer IV and bought the Seconic because the Idea is very good. But I recognised very fast that the Seconic isnīt sensible enough in low light situations and that I coulnīt use the meter because of that weekness. Finally I ended with a new Minolta Autometer IV which has 3 apertures more power in low light than the Seconic. After testing it a while, I gave the seconic to my dealer to sell it for me. But I liked the Idea very much and Iīd kept it when it would work in low light better. But with my Leica I work more and more on those situations so that I couldnīt work without that. The other point is, that the Seconic uses a lot for batteries. Much more than the Minolta where I have now the batteries for almost one year, in the Seconic they wouldnīt last longer as two months.
