Well there is a big difference between newspaper use and commercial use of someone's image. Newspapers don't need a release of any kind. I have never gotten a release for anything I've shot. Incidently, I've heard of photographers who do get releases offering people a lottery ticket instead of a dollar. Apparently some folks don't value a dollar but the possibility of hitting the jackpot is more tempting . . . Bob (Releases? We don't need no stinking releases!) McEowen
