He always distinguished between what he printed himself and what he had 
others print from him. Who is the printer you are talking about? I suspect 
the prints were not signed because they didn't meet his standards. All of 
the fully signed stuff was printed by Ansel himself. The helpers did the 
grunt work (washing, drying, mounting, spotting, etc.)
