One > that I struggle to break out of. I am especilly tired of "environmental portraits" taken with a tilted lens, so that the plane of focus is tilted, and only the eyes are in focus. I think the rage started with advertisement for Citibank, but they are so rampant that I'm sick of them. A couple of years ago in Japan were photos taken with super-long (>400mm) lenses wide open (2.8 or 4.0) The background became lumps of light that it didn't matter where they were taken. Still, the all-important photographers chose exotic locations, and photos were accompanied with captions to describe the location... he he he
