I got this from Metz today as I was asking about their smaller flash as others
were here too.
Ironically the 32Z-2 is the flash I already have from them. And not real small.
I just need another shoe.
But their system on their very inclusive but slightly frustrating web sight goes
all the way to some impresive large high tech units.
Check those out too Donal! They look real impressive. No idea if they cost less
than a million bucks.
But although I reacted against those Quantams when they first came out having
had all kinds of grief with their batteries they are becoming as ubiquitous as Zip's.

Dear Mr. Rabiner,
the smallest flash unit with SCA system suitable to all of your cameras
is called Metz 32Z-2. If this flash unit would be equiped with standard
foot 301, it is able to use them on manual cameras like your M6 and
further SLR's. For the connection to your Leica M6TTL and R8 we
recommend to use the adapter SCA3501.
With best regards
