Nonsense. If you note the zones by meter when you expose, you can easily
check their relative densities on a lightbox once the strips are developed.
Personally,  meter for zone III and IV, check that the highlights are in the
right place, then expose at 0, -1, -2, -3, 0, +1, +2, +3 stops. Repeat this
4 times, then develop each strip as it makes sense. Then compare the strips
on a lightbox. You can tell instantly whether Zone III and IV are there.
