Anthony never implied that; you inferred it. Digital signatures provide proof of (1) authenticity (definite origin from a given source) and (2) integrity (no modification). It is useless for copy protection, which requires other closely-related but not-quite-the-same techniques (still cryptographic, though). -- Anthony
