Just as there was a Minolta and a Leitz CL, there could be a Leica and a Konica M7/Hexar. If they could bring the new body to market at a lower price point than the current M6 -- something I suspect Konica could do that Leica probably could not -- and be a participant rather than a competitor, Leica would be admitting their current limitations while building their potential customer base, especially for high end lenses, Leica's true strength. That would be very smart and positive indeed. Larry
