I failed to notice i was standing over a six foot deep, water filled crevice. a stranger passed buy a commented nice camera. then i heard a "splish" and saw my new finder only a week old was sitting six feet under water next to assorted sea aneanome. the stranger looked at me grimaced and left quickly. i just felt like an idiot. good thing i didn't fork out the dough for a leica finder. the waves were already coming in and soon rescue attempts would be impossible so i did what i had to do, i paid my friend $5.00 to dive down a get it. when i got it home i soaked it in fresh water then dismanteled it rather crudely and cleaned all of the inside elements and put it back together. it doesn't work as well as it did before it went for a swim but it still works none the less. daniel mcclenaghan
