All batteries are like this. Lithium batteries have a much more gradual decline during their useful lifetimes, even under heavy loads, than do most other batteries, which is one of their many advantages. They are also extremely light, and they have a fairly open shelf life, plus a very high capacity. And they don't leak. -- Anthony
