Most people have never heard of Leica, but they recognize Nikon or Canon right away. These people are not likely to be seduced by the Leica name. The solution to this is not to produce new cameras with the Leica name on them, but to promote the Leica name itself, so that the existing cameras become better known. This also has the advantage of being less expensive than trying to come up with completely new products. -- Anthony
