A variety of equipment was on the counter for fondling. Then come the questions. Where's the 90mm F2 Asph? I don't have one yet. How long is the wait for the LTM 35mm F2? Don't know but it should be soon. I can give you a price, but I don't know whether the LTM lens gets the M rebate. Are you going to make LTM to M adapters? You can buy them on the internet for about $60. How many loupes do you have with you? Just the one. the store will have to order one for you. What's the delivery date? Don't know. Do you have the M brochure? Just one copy--don't take it. Pretty impressive 400mm SLR system. yeah, we sold a couple last month. Now what's wrong with this scenario? Does Leica USA want to move products? I know I can't buy directly from Leica USA, but why force me to wait for an order to arrive, when I'm hot to buy now? Leica's answer will be that the dealer should have ordered products to be on the shelves when the rep arrived. If they're sending out two reps, then they can send out another box of product to be at the dealer's on consignment. There should be less discipline imposed on the dealer and customer, and more attempt to sell whatever they can sell. Through no particular effort on their part, Leica is generating interest in all their cameras, through the ability to take a wide variety of lenses again. There are 700,000 LTM cameras awaiting a new Summicron. Leica should take advantage of this window of opportunity. >
