I looked at the Noctilux at the Leica store and they let me take two shots with it (not yet developed). What I found amusing was holding the lens up with the aperture set to 1.0: wide open like that, it looks like an empty cylinder with a piece of glass in it! On every other lens, you always see part of the lens around the perimenter when you look through it, even wide open--but on this lens, there's nothing! -- Anthony
