Subject: [Leica] rumour - from Leica this time

Dear LUG,

the german magazine "Color Foto" has an article of 6 pages on Leica's
financial crisis in its new october issue.
In an interview, Hanns-Peter Cohn, Leica's CEO, is asked about plans for
future products. His answer is (I tried to translate) :

"... Thus we are trying to extend the cameras of the M-System to a family.
There will be no new model that supersedes the existing camera, but the
friends of the M-system will get more choices..."

note that this "rumour" is nearly an announcement, as it comes directly
from Leica.
Has anyone more on this?
