I've decided to stake out my local, the Green Leafe, which offers what passes for local color--so, it's not so much that I spend a lot of time in bars, as it is that I expose a lot of film in *a* bar. I bring in copies of the photos I like, and they will often display them (I confess that I've disarmed a great number of objections by pointing to an image behind the bar and saying "that's one of mine"--this in reference to earlier discussions of street shooting). I've become a fixture as "the guy with the camera." I view it as an ongoing documentary project--and I bought the Noctilux in part to help me carry it through. Chandos.
