Giancario,

A few lines of info from the manufacturer presentation card:

Lux Technologies Paris
221 rue Lafayette 75010 Paris
Tel/Fax: 33 01 40 37 48 24

Panomigon 15mm f/8.0 (f/22 with ACV - Auto Compensation Vignetting)
Angle of field: 110-100-77 degrees
39mm Screw Mount

"The Panomigon is nearly devoid of distortion: the lines of the subject
remain straight, despite a record angle of image of 110 degrees and a
geometrical aperture of f/8..."

"It is also of a very compact design: measuring only 7mm from the camera
body."

"Construction type: retrofocus"

"its ACV system (Auto Compensation Vignetting) developed by Lux
Technoligies insures a homogeneous distribution of the intensity of
illumination at the level of the film. The ACV system replaces
advantageously the so expensive concentric graduate neutral density
filter: The photometric aperture is f/22. Orthoscopic optic, the
Panomigon 15mm differs by an almost total abscence of linear distortion,
thanks to the utilization of high refraction index glass. The very weak
curvature of the frontal lens allows the use of filters and other
creative accessories in the standard diameter of 49mm, usually not
permissible with current optics."

"The internal parts undergo a micro-snadblasting preliminary to an
anodic antiflare process.... The lenses, made of SCHOTT and CORNING
optical glass of exceptional quality, are manufactured in France with
the most extreme precision....."

"Each Panomigon 15mm lens is checked with the greatest care, not only on
optical test bench MTF, but also by photographic tests with film, means
to which Lux Technologies grants a great importance... so can the
highest level of quality be reached"

"Indisoensible complement of the Panomigon, 15mm viewfinder fastens on
the camera body by the accessory shoe. It includes a multi-axis
spirit-level quite useful for architecture photography....."

Hope this helps....

Regards,

Joseph
