If a person persistently objects and you take his picture anyway, he _might_ have a claim against you, and it _might_ be considered assault or battery, in extreme cases. - ------- Dr. Blacktape Comments - Taking photos of anyone, anywhere, despite their protestations, for one's own enjoyment and photographic growth, is an inexcusably rude, offensive thing to do. It is not something about which to boast, but something about which to be ashamed. Certainly there are justifications for taking photos despite a subject's wishes - for instance in a PJ news situation. But to do it to see how neat one's new camera is? Forget the black eye a husband or spouse my give you - anyone doing this is giving all street photographers a black eye.
