Debby - The Sekonic 508 is absolutely superb, although a bit large...1-5
degree spot, incident, flash, etc., all in one water resistant package. I
finally purchased one about a month ago and couldn't be happier. Smaller,
lighter, less features....Gossen Luna Pro digital, and Sekonic 308...both
functional, reliable, standard incident/reflected readings....but go for the
508...you won't regret it...

Could some of you more experienced M users recommend a small light-meter to
have in my camera bag with M6- 28mm, 50mm and 90mm lenses? I found on a
recent trip to the Adirondacks that I could have used it for some difficult
late afternoon glaring sun situations.

By the way, on the topic of the "weight of the M thread." I have
difficulties carrying heavy weight since some surgery a few years back. I
bought the M6 and above lenses because of the lighter weight and carry it
with ease along with a Metz 32. I wouldn't give up the quality. But I have
found that some people just don't like Leicas and will trash them at first
opportunity.
