I agree with Erwin's sentiments entirely.

Quite apart from the irrelevance of a lot of the personal attacks which
unfortunately characterise the LUG from time to time, it's a tremendous
waste of bandwidth. I have no wish to plough through 100+ messages a day
(and rising) to pick out the pearls from the BS.

If you have a bone to pick with an individual, go to private email and keep
it off the LUG. The less posturing and the more Leica content in this
forum, the better.

This is everything the LUG was in its early years: courteous, informative,
helpful and not a flame in sight.

If the Nikon guys can do it, why can't we?
