I have a table filled with AA rechargers but my 2 $75 Varta batteries seem ok. I hear if you look at them funny they get screwed up. Are they Nicads of a different ilk? They look like depth charges. I would Like a spring wound adaptor so i can wind the darn thing up it sounds like a metal munching dinosaur! Anyone got the inside scoop on this! My guess the batteries really will be obtainable for quite a while. Mark Rabiner
