Remember; "It isn't the SPEED it's the SIZE!!" BTW; used my 135 Elmarit-R on my Canon A2 at a wedding last week- shot with XP-2 at 320; photos are stunning! (when in focus!!) mainly shot 2.8-4, sometimes at 5.6 with flash or using a radio slave to fire lumedynes around the room- also used the 60 Elmarit-R macro, 90 Elmarit.... I'll say that using the Canon auto focus lenses is easier at times in a dim room- but the AF will sometimes 'seek', spoiling the moment. That 60 Elmarit is a very nice 'normal' lens as well!!!
